THE ORBITER SPACE FLIGHT SIMULATOR

A virtual flight simulator that goes beyond the confines of Earth's atmosphere. The program is free software in the sense that you are free to download, copy and redistribute it for personal non-commerical purposes, provided that the copyright notice is retained in the copy.

Make no mistake, ORBITER is not a space shooter. The emphasis is firmly on realism, and the learning curve can be steep. It includes all quite complex navigation instruments and tools.

This is an in-depth simulator, based on complex physics models for space travel, planetary motion and atmospheric effects, a horrifically detailed virtual simulation of space travel.

The ORBITER freeware simulator does an astounding job of replicating excactly space exploration; hugely complicated and visually stunning !

*Complementary to this amazing virtual simulator engine,
implementing an organized virtual logic for realism accuracy,
The Earth Star Flight Academy (ESFA) is providing
the overall infrastructure that brings space travel
and exploration available to this day and age !

Take control to a variety of spacecraft in this highly realistic
virtual spaceflight simulator (The Orbiter Engine).

AIR/SPACE OPERATION BOARD.

The Earth Star Flight Academy (ESFA) is the organisation that provides independent means for atmospheric transits (aeroplanes), orbital transits (space shuttles) and space exploration crafts, vessels, expertise, management and regulation.

The absolute autonomy of the institution, unfettered by any government, military agencies nor private interests, does grant complete freedom of operation into open airspace, including off-planet space.

This is established by great concern given to its finances. Interests coming from accounts, which are carefully placed in trusts and holdings, fund the operations of the organisation. These accounts are invested in societies that honour the ESFA norms of approval regarding respect toward the environment and all living organisms. The currency injections into these accounts does come from world-wide corporate and private donator’s.

The ESFA Fleet consists of airspace vehicles, orbiter spacecrafts and space ships/vessels.

The ESFA Organisation embodies a flight instructional institution supplying its own pilot corps, maintenance crews and operation technicians. It also recruits eminent scientists to join in with teams of experts at managing specific activities and performing complying studies.

Considering some particular instances, the ESFA Organisation can agree to associate with other societies or agencies to accommodate specific resources.

Additional information:

As ESFA standards in its Space Craft Fleet, Interstar class systems are utilising sub-particles picked up from the surrounding medium to produce electricity.

The Impulse Propulsion Reactors are making use of plasma injectors to release the amount of energy in a short delay resulting in impulses and/or boost thrusts.

Plasma injection fuel production (Deuterium / Tritium / Dilithium) is located on Mars, and operated within the ground base facility Mars base Straker MRTI (R.F.S. Research Facility Settlement).

In the Local Transit Fleet, the systems are utilising Oxygen and Hydrogen cryogenic cells for supplying electricity and life support, and Fuel Reactant propulsion resulting in continual thrust.

The ESFA has seized and restored what is called now the E.C.S. (Expedition Cosmo-Sphere). It is operated in space for colony permanent habitat and harbour in distant areas and solar systems.

LORENTZIAN WORMHOLE

LORENTZIAN WORMHOLE

WRMHL SPACE-STATION

The logically accurate and realistic way
to switch between Orbiter Solar system templates:
The Lorenzian Wormhole.

A traversable wormhole has at least two mouths which are connected to a single throat or tube. The vessel travels from one mouth to the other by passing through the throat. This type of wormhole is known as the "Lorentzian wormhole" and it is refered to as Wormhole Jump.

ESFA Standards:

A traversable wormhole has to be held open by a spherical shell of exotic matter. The Wormhole Shell is install and maintained by a Wormhole-Provider Facility, within a space-station orbiting a planet in the solar system. Interstar class vessels have to reach the WRMHL-STATION, which is in the local solar system, then the user can change the Orbiter engine active template. When the active template or scenario is saved, the user will re-enter each Solar System Template from that last position; the WRMHL-Station.

3D Virtual Career

I have always been fascinated by piloting, particularly in space. As far back as I can remember, around 6/7 years old, I was putting things and stuff together making beleive it is a space ship. Transforming my parent's house into a huge spacecraft exploring the universe. Winter was great, the extreme weather allowed me to "simulate" a foreign environment During the summer I was gathering friends together and we went in the mountain, exploring as a military like squad putting to work strategies, tactics and schemes. Back then that was as far as "simulating" could go, everything was in my head.
And life went on...

Guess what I did when I saw the first computer
(1982, Commodore/Vic-20) ?
Right, I learned programming
and created my very first spaceship simulator.
God! I wished I had that when I was 8 years old!
Still, it was not real enough for me.
And life played on...

In October 1997, I got my first real computer. And, amazingly enough, I had time on my hand. Lots of it! When I finally sat before Microsoft Flight Simulator running, it did not take me long to realise I was in for the real thing. Despite multiple attempts, I could not even get the Cessna airborne! I knew I had to take real courses; piloting lessons, ratings, and NAV courses. After 8 months, I was a pilot.
Though virtual, that was real enough for me!
This is how I began my 3D Virtual Career.

1997 to 2004: Aircraft Training:
Virtual Aircraft Generator [Microsoft Flight Simulators].
I have accumulated over 4000 hours of flight in atmospheric crafts, piloting all sorts of airplanes (from Cessna to Boeing 777) to ATP licence, and the Bell JetRanger helicopter.

Piloting

Now, piloting is a very serious occupation, extremely demanding. It requirers close attention, planning in advance, and procedures. Without one of these, the pilot is lost. And that is what he needs to avoid! I figured out the best training for these are military operations.

2004 to 2005: Military Training.
Virtual Battlefield Generators
[Online Battlefield & Kuma-War templates]
I’ve done military training and field operations
at all levels, Infantry (mobile units),
Marine and Airborne squads,
Online team real battle engagements (PvP),
in different combat theatres (large field of engagement
and local cordon operations).

Airforce

2005 to 2006: Airforce Training.
Virtual Airforce Generator [Jane Flight Simulator].
I’ve done complete Air force training and operations,
piloting KC-10 (Fuel Tank), B-52, F-18, F-15 Eagle,
and suppprt aircrafts, in real combat engagements
into various theatres.

Space

At last, while piloting I knew what I was doing, where I was going,
and how to do it. I felt I had acquired enough Knowledge (information,
erudition) and Technique (method, systems)
for me to leave the atmosphere!

2006 to 2007: Space Flight Training.
No atmosphere/Low gravity (Na/Lg) Flights Generator.
[Orbiter Space Flight Simulator].
I’ve done complete Na/Lg flight training,
and operations in different related fields of activity.

- Orbiter Flights:
Operating and manoeuvring vessels and shuttles
from Earth to orbit (orbital transits),
Orbiter class: DeltaGlider 01, DeltaGlider III.

Performing satellites and instruments assembly,
and maintenance in orbit.
Orbiter class: DeltaGlider, ShuttleA, Dragonfly.

- Space Flights:
Operating, manoeuvring and commanding spaceships
and vessels from Earth’s orbit to other planets
in the solar system.

Interceptor class (one seat spacecraft):
TiE Fighter/Interceptor (scouts),
Jetiscope and Stragire (runners).

Interstar class (long distances space transits):
SKK Sankukaï (space carrier/ranger),
FireFly Cargo (space cargo vessel),
Falcon Millennium (exploration scout),
NCC-1701c (Astro-travel spaceship).

Where Fantasy meets Reality

Now, space is awfully different from atmosphere.
The space environment is geometry... in motion!
There is no up and down, no right or left.
Everything moves and influences everything else.

It involves quite complex physics and dynamics,
combined with horrifically detailed geometry motion.
Somewhat hugely complicated mecanics.

Once everything is understood, it is marvelous!

Complementary to modern's astounding simulators, accurate knowledge in science allows to bring forward realistic and logical projections, so everything makes sense!

Sort of an "organized virtual logic" ensuring realism accuracy. In this manner, though it is not real, it could be! At its core, this overall infrastructure of accurate notions and science is essential to me. Because it does provide a realistic simulation to space developments, and plausible technology.
Thus, space travel and exploration is my reality today!

What is great about credible simulating is,
one can extract conceivable and liable theories from it.

Indeed Bill really did open the "gates", did he not!
Well, he did to me.
